Private Desert Dinners & Gala Nights in Riyadh

Arrive an hour before sunset. Earlier, and people get restless before the food. Later, and they miss the one view they came for.

That first hour is for drinks and the sand: camels, or a 4×4 run over the dunes for whoever wants one. Nobody has to. The fire and the view are enough for most guests. Then everyone climbs the dune for sunset and the photographs.

Dinner is served once it’s dark. Speeches and awards go between courses. Tell us how many and how long, and we place them where the kitchen and the music can pause. Afterwards there’s music by the fire and the telescope with its guide. Cars head back around 8:30 pm.
