Executive Retreats & Board Offsites near Riyadh

A boardroom is a poor place to think about next year. Every chair has its usual owner and every agenda item its usual argument.

Move the same ten people 55 minutes east of Riyadh, sit them on the floor of a traditional tent with the dunes outside, and the conversation changes. We can’t promise better decisions. We can promise nobody will be glancing at the door.

We’re a licensed Saudi tour operator and we’ve worked in this desert since 2010. For leadership teams we set the camp up as a private executive retreat: one working session in the tent, an hour on the dunes, dinner cooked on site, everyone back in the city the same night.

One long session, not two short ones

Travel eats the morning anyway. So leave after midday and give the tent a clear two and a half hours.

The tent

Floor seating is the default. Tell us if anyone needs a chair. Hot drinks and snacks stay within reach for the whole session, and our team keeps out until you call a break.

Many boards run the session without slides, which is half the reason to leave the office. If you do need a screen or a flip chart, say so and the quote will state what we provide.

The offsite is private to your group.

Practical things

You travel in 4×4 vehicles with our drivers, from a pickup point in Riyadh that we agree in the quote. Wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes, and bring a jacket, because the desert is cold after dark in winter. Send dietary requirements with the names.

Overnight stays aren’t part of the standard programme. If you want one, ask, and we’ll tell you plainly what’s possible on your date.
